Description
The BARTZ-Metal-Treatment-Box for dehydrogenation and cleaning ofliquid aluminum is a two-stage cleaning unit. Two chambers with heating devicesand stirrer units imply the main structure of the box. The refining processconsists of two graphite spinning nozzle assemblies – one in each chamber -that inject an inert process gas like Argon, Nitrogen or Chlorine into themolten metal. The inert process gas is used to remove dissolved hydrogen fromthe melt and to float inclusions from the metal.
